Dr. Kate Williams
Dr. Kate Williams is a native of Northwest Arkansas. She attended the
University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, and received a Bachelor’s of Science,
Animal Science in 1991 and a Master’s of Science, Animal Science/ Parasitology
in 1993. She also graduated from the University of Arkansas ROTC program and
was commissioned into the U.S. Army as an officer in 1991 and has served in the
military on active duty and in the Army Reserves since. She served on acti
ve
duty in the Army for several years prior to attending veterinary school.
Dr. Williams has practiced veterinary medicine in Northwest Arkansas since she graduated from Tuskegee University, College of Veterinary Medicine in May 1999. She has practiced in Rogers, Bentonville, Fayetteville, and now Springdale. She lives with her husband and her 10 year old son on a small farm with 5 cats, 1 dog, 2 horses, a turtle, and a gecko.
Dr. Williams enjoys small animal medicine and surgery. She also has a special interest in canine and feline dermatology, internal medicine, diagnostics, and surgery. She also enjoys working with exotic animals, such as birds and pocket pets.
Her pledge is to provide the clients and patients of St. Francis Animal Hospital excellent veterinary care! Her motto is “Compassionate animal care, provided by a well trained veterinary team.” She strives to maintain a full service veterinary hospital with state of the art diagnostics, surgery, foods, and supplies. Dr. Williams is happy to be here serving the wonderful people and animals of Springdale, and Northwest Arkansas.
